RABBI

Duties:    Serve as a spiritual guide, teacher and advisor.  Lead services, teach precepts of Reform Judaism and offer religious counseling to members.  Direct Sabbath and holiday worship services, organize and teach education sessions for adults and children.  Lead the community in celebration of life cycle events such as weddings, baby naming ceremonies, bar or bat mitzvahs, conversions, visit the sick, shiva and yahrzeit.  Participate in raising funds for charitable causes that express Jewish values and assist in social action committees.  

Requirements:  Two years experience with conducting Jewish religious services and teaching precepts in Reform Judaism, Jewish education for adults and children, conducting life cycle ceremonies.    Ability to lead services and teach in both English and Spanish.   Obtained title of a Rabbi.
